xperienced, professional, and creative - Geoffrey Donne has worked in many formats during two decades in the industry, crossing effortlessly from dramatic features and television specials to reality, documentary, music and corporate videos, and theater. 

Geoffrey has experience in a wide variety of production areas such as Art Direction and Special Effects, and is well versed in writing show proposals, show bibles, treatments and completed scripts. He has worked as an award-winning DP and cameraman, frequently shooting when he directs.

Though he has appeared as an actor in some 20 professional productions, Geoffrey's favoerite stage role remains his award-winning Macbeth at the Globe Theater. His feature film roles include appearances in Steven Spielburg's Hook and Sam Rami's Army of Darkness and most recently starring in Dreamcatcher Film's Dead Air and Formation Film's First Born. Geoffrey has studied with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Uta Hagen and Milton Katselas.

As a founding member of Artists on the Attack Productions, Geoffrey joined with colleagues who shared his ambition to create an independent production company able to produce both main stream productions and cutting-edge, controversial projects.

Geoffrey has worked on a wide range of projects from science fiction actioners to large-scale period films, as well as rock videos and hard hitting political thrillers. For example, he co-wrote and directed In Case of Emergency, a science fiction action film with a strong spritual theme, woven through a classic military adventure. Teaming up with Bob Bryan, the DP from Hill Street Blues and Murder One and the visual effects artists from Jurassic Park and Babylon 5, he led the team through extensive location shooting, over 25 CGI shots, and complex stunts, all on a tight shooting schedule and budget. The completed film won coveted awards at the Worldfest International Film Festival.

Subsequently, Geoffrey produced, directed, and co-starred in In the Dark, an intense political thriller which takes a shattering personal look at huma rights abuses. Amnesty International threw its weight behind the project, which originated as a non-profit stage production and was subsequently developed into a non-profit film. Amnesty International declared "It is so powerful at times it is difficult to watch". Touring the film festival circuit, In the Dark won the prestigious Cine Golden Eagle Award and was chosen to represent the United States in international competition.
Recently Geoffrey created a signature rock video for the world premiere of singer Paul Bradley. Geoffrey wrote and directed Separate Lines of Time, a 35mm project encompassing five different eras, a multitude of complex effects shots, and a seven-day location shoot on Catalina Island. Later, Geoffrey collaborated with Nick Nolte and his Kingsgate Films, along with Carlton International to develop a ground-breaking documentary: On Killing: The Fatal Question.
